   Alkaline Forming Food

Here are some of the foods, spices and juices that we consume regularly that have a more alkaline pH or can be assumed to have alkaline forming qualities.  These alkaline pH foods can be used by those who find themselves too acidic.  The pH scale runs from 0-14 with 7.0 be a neutral pH and with a pH of 6.4 to 6.8 being the most suggested when considering your biological terrain first thing in the morning (urine & saliva) - it will change to alkaline numbers throughout the day with 7.0 - 7.8 being the norm a couple hours after eating.*
